The story of Cushy-Rug began in 2005, when founder Lorraine found herself packing away a mountain of throw rugs after every family movie night. Tired of the clutter, and inspired to make life a little easier, she dreamt up a simple idea with big potential: a cosy rug that could fold into a stylish cushion when not in use.

And just like that, the first Cushy Rug was born.

While many 2-in-1 blankets on the market can be fiddly or time-consuming to fold and zip, Lorraine worked with her designers to perfect a design that’s snuggly, functional, and incredibly simple to pack away.

After making sure every member of her own family had a Cushy Rug to call their own, Lorraine knew it was time to share her fabulous creation with the world.

Today, Cushy-Rug brings comfort, warmth, and everyday practicality into homes everywhere — one foldable, lovable rug at a time.
